Greetings Adventurers!

I love the public play of D&D Adventurers League. It’s a great opportunity to find a game when I’ve got an open night, and it’s what so many convention games run on. But I’ll admit, sometimes it feels a bit arcane. There’re extra rules that are hard to find, rules that they update almost annually. It’s full of things to track that I’m not used to tracking on my standard character sheet.

As I have started running more organized play adventurers of late, I want to make sure my players have the tools they need to easily navigate the fiddley bits of AL so that we can find the real fun at the table – playing D&D!

That’s why I’m excited to share a simple but helpful tool I’ve been working on: the Adventurers League Character Log (AL 2026), now available on the DMsGuild. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense character log sheet built specifically for the latest Adventurers League rules (updated as of January 2026)—designed to help you spend less time flipping through documents and more time actually playing.

Whether you prefer printable sheets or fillable PDFs, these logs are organized by all four tiers of play, so you can grab the one that fits your character right now. Each sheet includes gentle reminders for the special rules of Adventurers League, answering questions like: How many sets of magical ammunition can I carry? How many uncommon-or-better magic items am I allowed at this tier? Where do I keep track of downtime? It’s all right there, exactly where you need it.

If you play Adventurers League regularly—or you’re just tired of second-guessing yourself between sessions—this log is meant to be a simple, reliable companion for your character’s journey. You can check it out here:
