It all started with Arthur, an 8-year old kid who wanted to raise money so others could have access to clean water. This initiative has since become a tradition, as every Halloween—for the last five years—he gathers people together to raise funds. Over the course of five fundraisers, they’ve raised more than $6,000 for various charities. I’m so glad to join them this year to make a difference in the world and bring awareness to an amazing organization that is doing great work!

Tampa, FL has been hit by two hurricanes over the last few weeks, and I’m joining in to help raise money to help the community. Hillsborough Organization for Progress and Equality (HOPE) is a collective of local progressive faith communities in Tampa that advocates for the needs of the poor and marginalized in who are facing challenges like finding affordable housing, dealing with an unjust criminal justice system, and local environmental degradation.
